WHAT IF 45 orphans from the Breath of Heaven Children’s Village in Zambia trained for a 5k race and challenged the world to run WITH them in order to raise awareness and funds to complete and expand their village?

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN if individuals and organizations around the globe decided to “lose their shoes,” and join the children in running the 5k race barefoot at the exact same time, connecting only through the power of social media?

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN if those individuals and organizations running the 5k raised support and pledges?

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN is that piece by piece, brick by brick we could together raise $250,000 to complete the school at the Breath of Heaven Children's Village to provide education to more children.

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN is that we could move beyond raising money and change the conversation. Instead of, “what can we do for Africa”, the narrative becomes, “what can we learn from each other and build together?”

These children have heart, they have a story, they have a mission, and they invite YOU to “lose the shoes”.
